Abengoa Mexico will sign a contract for the construction of Substations and Overhead Transmission Lines in Baja California and Sonora
Trusting in their Experience in the execution of this type of projects, the “Comisión Federal de Electricidad” has signed a contract with Abengoa México, Elecnor México and Elecnor S.A. for the construction of five electrical substation and four overhead transmission lines in the Baja California and Sonora States, Mexico. The contract is valued at more than $35,2 million; It shall create approximately 400 jobs. The scope of the works includes the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and financing, guaranteeing, the highest indices of quality in all processes Nowadays Abengoa Mexico is executing three projects in the electrical sector, valued at more than 151 million With this new contract Abengoa Mexico maintains the leadership like supplier of the Federal Commission of Electricity of this type of projects.
