CFE Awarded contract for $ 15 million dollars to Abengoa Mexico
“Comisión Federal de Electricidad”, has awarded to the companies Abengoa, Alstom, Isolux and Edemtec, a contract for building two substations and 29 km of transmission lines with voltages of 230 and 115 kV, which are located in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. The contract amounts to $ 15 million dollars, hoping to create an average of 200 direct jobs. The scope includes design, procurement, construction and commissioning in addition to the funding required for its implementation, ensuring the highest quality standards in the industry and the implementation of necessary measures to take care of the environment. In the last eight months, Abengoa has contracted with the CFE, a total of four contracts for the construction of substations and transmission lines, demonstrating that maintains its leadership implementing such projects in Mexico.
